Most preferred time to Visit the Taj Mahal
during the months that are cooler (October to April) as the temperature during this time is around 10°C (50°F) to 25°C (77°F). It is possible that the crowd will be more during the weekend and public holidays. You can visit the beautiful Taj Mahal early in the morning to keep away from the crowd.

Visiting Hours
The Taj Mahal opens 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes before sunset on regular operating days.
Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays for general viewing. It remains open on all other days.
Ticket Outlets
- Taj Mahal Western Gate: Tickets are available near the Saheli Burj. (Timing: One hour before sunrise until 45 minutes before sunset).
- Taj Mahal Eastern Gate: Tickets are available at the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal. (Timing: One hour before sunrise until 45 minutes before sunset).
- Taj Mahal Southern Gate: Currently, only exit is allowed from this gate; no entry is permitted.
Separate queues are available for foreign and domestic tourists, with signs to guide you accordingly.

Note:
- Tourists buying tickets online receive a discount of Rs.5/- for each Indian ticket and Rs.50/- for each foreigner ticket.
